does the updated version of the HAL.DLL, which i assume is a non-checked
build, worked with the checked build of NT 4.0 ?

I need to run nt 4.0 checked build to debug some kernel mode
drivers.

	No. You need a checked HAL to run a checked build of NT. If your machine does not have the 120nsec EEPROM part, then you can use the HAL that is on the checked NT V4.0. Scott
