    A customer purchases AS2000 with a VT510 as the console.
    We deliver the systems with a ISA ATI MACH64 module that
    they want to remove from the systems they ship out to
    their customers.
    
    The problem is that the VT510 doesn't seem to work with
    ECU very good.  They couldn't figure out how to run ECU 
    in the add/remove boards and use the Delete key on the VT510.
    We finally ran P00>> clear_arc_nvram then ran ECU from
    scratch in order to remove the ATI MACH64 from the EISA 
    configuration.
    
    The VT510 is the only serial console that we ship with the
    systems.
    
    Are there any quick VT510 setup features in order to get it 
    to run ECU?

    try alphaserver_4100 note 537 - see if it works the same on sable.

    Or try note 987.* in this conference. Haven't used it recently, but
    worked in the past ok.
