2529.0. "2100A crashes TSZ07 turned off!" by MAASUP::TURRO (Make it so number 1) Fri Feb 21 1997 19:27

    Ive got 2 2100a's running VMS 6.2-1H3. Everything is ok except for
    one small thing.Each 2100A has its own TSZ07 via a KZPAA. When they
    have to power off a TSZ07 on "either" system. The system will crash!

    Ive been talking w support but not much help except maybe a patch!It
    may help. Termination on one system has been verified. Terminator and
    jumper on the KZPAA are correct and installed properly. Cable BN23g-02
    is not maxing anything. The drives run as they should ie backups no
    problem. No excessive errors on either drive or system.

    Oh support did mention that I should try setting the "PKB0_fast=x"
    variable to a 0 its currently at a "1".

    Any one got any ideas.

            Rich,
            The problem was solved with an alpha Scsi series of patches .I
    think it
            was axpvms_070. I think !

            Everything is fine.
