Hi
I'd like to re-visit this topic. I need to support several TL800 ATLs
on AlphaServer 2100/4100 systems. Given the high throughput of the
TZ89 tape drives, Tape Engineering suggests that only two of these
drives be placed on a KZPSA. Thus, I quickly fill up the available PCI
slots, and find I need more slots . . .
. . . or a multi-channel SCSI adapter. Not a RAID adapter, as these
tape drives are not supported on RAID controllers (nor would it make
sense to).
Are any multi-channel SCSI adapters available for the AS2100/AS4100
systems?
Thanks!
