Hi,
Our customer has a SCHEDULER problem with a following configuration:
Alphastation 255 OpenVMS V6.2-1H3, SCHEDULER V2.1B-07, DECnet IV,
UCX V4.1 ECO2.
VAXstation 4000-90A OpenVMS V6.2, SCHEDULER V2.1B-07, DECnet V,
UCX V4.1.
Remote option was installed with SCHEDULER on both computers .
When sending a job from one computer to the other (both ways is the same
problem), the following error appears:
Hex 0C968AD2 Decimal 211192530
which meens: Failed to receive confirmation packet from agent.
When typing: SCHED SHO STAT/REMOTE=nodename, they get:
704: final error on connect to socket 3
704: send failed
%SYSTEM-F-UNREACHABLE, remote node is not currently reachable
There are no TCP/IP or DECnet problems on their site.
What might be the problem and what should he look for?
