Quick question for you, customer is running V2.1b Server on VAX V6.1 system and 2.1b Agent on OSF/1 V3.2G box, he is running TCP-WARE between the two, is this allowed or does he have to use UCX or TCP/IP services?? thanks Paul OpenVMS UK CSC

UCX is the only support IP services with scheduler. I've heard rumors that some customer have gotten Multi-net working with scheduler. I don't have all the details but the modify the KITINSTALL.COM procedure to check for the correct sharable image, and change the link command to use Multinet sharable image instead of UCX$IPC_shr, i think... Not supported though. good luck Mark |
