1168.0. "want Korn Shell, not Bourne Shell !" by 54942::HERTA (For something fulfilled this hour, loved, or endured) Tue Oct 15 1996 10:17
I defined a number of jobs to run under root account. In /etc/passwd, the root
account has been modified to run ksh as default shell. Yet, scheduler insists
on executing the root's .profile in Bourne shell. As a result, the jobs fall
over, e.g. because Bourne shell does not know about Korn shell [[ expression ]]
compound command syntax.
Anyone have any idea why scheduler uses Bourne shell, and how I may force it
to Korn shell?
