Okay, the requests for kits and documentation are being asked,without anyone in Digital to answer them. I've sent mail to CA, asking for them to be put on the Web, with no response. So how about this: what is the plan for Scheduler use within Digital? As part of the sale to CA, was an agreement made to get us access to the kits and documentation, for free or at a discount? Thanks! tl

1147.1 | Polycenter Scheduler agreement? | AZUR::BONETTO | christian-Jacques 828 5825 | Wed Aug 07 1996 09:20 | 5 |
Got the same problem as you but for a customer. So I called CA and been told that Polycenter Scheduler (at least for OSF/1) is in maintenance mode and no more sold! DECies coming from CA training told me that CA will improve CA-UNICENTER with the missing Polycenter Scheduler functionalities. It does not solve my problems but that's the info I have. cjb | |||||

I spoke to some folks at CA who 'know' as much as their is to know, and that isn't complete. For the POLYCENTER products that were sold, we can order new kits paying only a royalty fee (so don't expect to see the kits on-line) for internal use. The how you order part is still being worked on. I suspect it will be via Royalty Administation, but I haven't talked to them. |
