Hi The customer has a test system and 76 shops running scheduler. They add new jobs etc to the test environment and when they work ok, they copy VSS.DAT & DEPENDANCIES.DAT to the standalone shop nodes. On an intermitant basis the new jobs do not provide and exit status ($status). So any post function will only run according to the status of the previous job. Is copying the *.dat files all they need to do? OpenVMS VAX V5.5-2, DECscheduler V2.1. I realise that VSCHED_E07B021 kit addresses various 'STATUS' issues, but the customer would like confirmation that the kit will fix the problem before applying it to 76 nodes? TIA Matthew

Hi Matthew, what Version are they running now? Can I have more information on the perticular paroblem. are agents involved? All I can do is look in release notes our qar system to see if you problem with status matches any fixed. bob | |||||

Thanks for your reply Bob, I have managed to get the customer to apply VSCHED_E07B021 to some of his shops and go from the there. I will come back to this note if the problem persists. Cheers | |||||
