A customer of mine is considering using DEC Scheduler running under OpenVMS to schedule jobs on his NT boxes running 3.51. Her question is, can they use pre and post functions with the NT Scheduler agent ? Any help would be appreciated. /IanM

1096.1 | No pre and post for V2.1 NT Agent | MUZICK::MORIARTY | Thu May 16 1996 14:02 | 10 | |
Unfortunately, the V2.1 Agent for NT does not support the use of pre and post functions. There is a number of ways to accomplish this either in Scheduler using chain of job dependencies or shell procedures on the agent NT node. There is an internal field test version for NT based on the archectiture used on the V3.0 OSF scheduler, but I am unsure of the release date. |
