hi , Using the CLI and passing commands like show jobs * display brief on a sched.dbs containing 200 jobs i get slow response times . Is there any recommandations for tuning Scheduler ? guy

Well that is a side effect of a distributed client/server/agent system The cli itself is no longer going straight into the db like it did in 2.1. It calls the api which makes an rpc call. IT works the same if local or distributed. (local is faster). If you have to do many commands, invoke the cli shell, and then issue the commands. That will be a little faster, becuase you do not init the api for every command like you would from the system prompt. bob |
