| Steve- NSI used to be part of Digital and was spun off as a seperate company.
They have been contracting out maintenance work against Digital products for
years, including RDB/Oracle and other big name products. NSM has chosen to
follow this pattern w/ a number of polycenter products over time - it is
basically invisible to most parts of the chain. Scheduler has been using
them a number of months now. We have had their engineers on-site for
extended detailed internals training and we continue to support them as
well as customers. Over time we will transition all of the support for
V2 on VMS servers to NSI, but we will still back them up and remain
responsible. So far things have been smooth and really the only thing
you should see is a different routing for ipmt cases, and perhaps a few
new faces popping up in the notesfile from time to time :-)
