1048.1currently only Digital UNIX agent for V3.0MUZICK::RCOLLIERMon Apr 01 1996 10:1113
    Hi Stephen:

There is currently only one V3.0 agent, and that is for the Digital
UNIX platform. There is a single saveset that contains the client,
server and agent, and it is at install time that you tell the system
    which component you want.

Are you able to get at the savesets and get the internal royalty
PAKs, or are you still running into problems? Please let us know
    here.

    Thanks,
    Rae

One more thing: Scheduler V3.0 can use the V2.1B agents across
the supported platforms to schedule jobs.

You just can't use Scheduler V2.1B server/monolith to schedule
jobs on the V3.0 Digital UNIX (and other platforms in the future)
    agents.

I installed without support for 2.1b agents.

I assumed the 3.0 agents would be done by now.

My mistake.

Do I have to reinstall now?

(I need to run VMS and NT Agents)

Hi Stephen,

Do you do not have to reinstall the scheduler. You need to do the
	following.

	on the unix server
	>su
#csh ( i use csh all the time so I will tell you how to do it in this
              shell)
	#source /var/sched/sched_init.csh
	#sched_startup menu
please enter selection: 8 (use option 8)
		answer the questions.

You are all set.
