| Please escalate thru normal support channels if you need help with
this. Downloading code in the field is not normally something we
recommend, though the files are available where you said. It is not
always a trouble free process.

| Do not escalate this. If you read the Readme posted in the same directory,
you would have seen this note:
******* Please take your time, and follow the instructions carefully.*********
If reloading the Firmware Code does not resolve your issue, then you will have
to order out a new AC Controller module.
The procedure posted has worked for many others, so you may have a BAD module.

| Hello again,
I read note 553.0 and Readme file for DLD.exe before I wrote my topic to notes
and I decided to order new Autochanger controller.
I was optimist and I supposed that I received controller at least with FW O.36
and also eliminate that the module is bad.
I replaced modules and I had bad luck, the new one has FW 0.35. This module acts
same as original.
I also used another PC with scsi adapter, but I was not able update FW either.
I realize the problem is probably on PC side but I don't want to spend a lot of
time by tunning PC with variety scsi adapters.
The first step I need to do is update FW to 0.37.
Is there any other ways to update FW ?
e.g. order the medium-RWdisk which contains new version of FW and from
control panel of RW531 update FW (without using another equipment),
similary like it is done for tape drives.
obtain new controller module with new FW = 0.37.
and so on...
I can escalate this problem, but I think that FW update procedure is not the
right case for escalation.
Please give me some information, before I 'll start escalation.
Best redards
Stefan.
P.S. I am slightly suprised that the display messages on RW531 like IMPTMSGRJ
and IMCHBINT are not explain in documentation.

| Stefan,
Since you seem to be having trouble downloading code, the
correct action at this point in time is to order a new AC Controller
module. If you P1 it from Logistics you should be able to specify
what revision you will accept. Logistics should now have modules
at the latest rev of code.
Currently there is no other reliable process for downloading
code.
