Hallo,
I have a request from a customer side.
They want to sell alphaserver 1000 with RWZ53 and OpenvmsAXP 7.1
including application software (about 10 machines).
They want to sell it at end of may. Is this configuration supported?

The OSDS software will not be available by the end of May but other
parties that have check into this have found that OpenVMS V7.1 has
the RWZ53 listed as a supported device via the POR. I don't have
any more information as to what amount of support that implies.
If you plan to sell RWZ53's as OpenVMS suppprted devices, I suggest
you check with someone in OpenVMS to find out what functionality is
really supported. If you get any answers could you please post you
results here?
Also, It would have been nice if you would have noticed that another
note stream exists for V7.1 support questions instead of starting a
new note stream, i.e. DIR/TITLE command.
