         Since OSMS 3.4 supports the use of LUN mode, and the 4X
    generation of libraries are capable of the hardware supporting it,
    are there any "serious" issues to consider regarding performance of 
    the large libraries if one decides to use LUN mode vs. the default OFF?
    
    Any real drawbacks to us recommending to customers to use LUN mode?
    
    In the Large Optical Disk (RW555/RW557) Library Service Manual,
    it states:
    page 3-13, paragraph 3
    
    "...Also, attaching multiple devices using LUN's may affect the
    performance of those devices."
