    I have a customer with vax vms 5.5-2h4 RW530 juke osms
    lstarv033 WORM media.
    So far on JBA0 only with 2 different platters (one was
    a new one the original had anout 75% of it space written)
    we get %create-e-dirnotcre directory not created.
    We created the same directory on JBA4 and JBA20 (all these
    are WORM media rwx5k-02) no problem. On JBA0 we are not
    using a directory tree greater than 8 and we are not trying
    to do this over a network. Any ideas? The new platter used
    in JBA0 was inited on the same drive the directory create
    failed on.

    Any errors in the system error log?
    
    Does anything get created?
    
    Does ODU/MESSAGE=DEBUG [/LOG] show anything regarding the problem
    directory?
