| Answer for a) Contact George (SUBSYS::PAPPAS). He is the product
manager. The P.M.'s are the people that are allowed
to make promises if they desire.
F.Y.I. - V7.1 support is optical engineerings hot
item at the moment.
Answer for b) The current version (V3.4) has the same HSx
functionality for VAX and Alpha. Offically HSC
functionality has been dropped, but no code changes
were made to OSMS to prevent HSC connectivity, you
just won't get IPMT problem support for HSC. See
SPD for HSD's and HSJ's that are supported.

| Hi
I have a customer that despiratly need to run OSMS v3.4 for support of the new
jukeboxes and OpenVMS v7.1 for new functionality. Is there a date for a version
of OSMS that will be qualified to run with OpenVMS v7.1?

I have mailed SUBSYS::PAPPAS and havn't recieved a reply.
I have mailed Rob Seneker, who has kindly passed my mail to Dave Deworken, but I
have not recieved a reply yet.
Who is the Product Manager?

| Matthew,
George Pappas is the product manager. Larry Bleiwise (KAPTIN::BLEI) is
George's supervisor.
Dave Deworken is the engineering manager. Susan Kegel (DECWET::SUSAN)
is Dave's supervisor.
Rob Seneker (me) is the software engineer for OSDS and OSMS for
OpenVMS. Dave is my supervisor, and I have to work with George
because he is the product manager for my product.
That is the entire team for OSDS and OSMS for OpenVMS software. If you
are unhappy with the lack of response, I recommend contacting Larry and
Susan.
