UNIX V3.2F
PSE V1.1
DEFPA FDDI controller
Customer has a problem where the FDDI driver if_fta.o stops working
instead of re-initializing itself after receiving illegal length
packets. For a base UNIX V3.2F (one without PSE), this is solved
with patch OSF370-350145 which provides a new if_fta.o file. However,
we cannot use this file on a system where PSE is installed given that
the kernel cannot be built (linking error ftaoutputFAST undefined).
Is there an equivalent patch for system where PSE is installed?
I checked V1.2 but the driver if_fta.o looks to be the same as in V1.1
Thanks
Dennis

Please de-install UDP and rebuild the kernel.
Very few customers use the UDP_PRIME support supplied in
PSE V1.2 and earlier. As of V1.3 UDP_PRIME support is being
dropped.
