hi,
I wanted information to counter SGI's numa architecture.
We have a case where we have customer who is conversant with
SGI machines, we have proposed two 4100 alphaserver in cluster
over memory channel.
We know that SGi will strongly discuss the advantage of numa
architecture. We want to know.
1) What could be the disadvantages of using numa
architecture over SMP.
2) what could be advantages of memory channel over numa.
3) What kind of application can use memory channel.
4) anything to counter SGI' architecture.
