I have a problem where a file should be being created using sys$create and then sys$connect in a particular directory pointed to be a system logical. The file should have extension .HIS The file is being created in sys$login with an extension of .LOG. The file contains execution of sylogin.com, the intended information and then process accounting information. The sylogin.com execution and process acounting information should not appear in the intended file. With a debug image the file is created exactly where it should be and with the correct contents. Could someone point me towards what may be the problem? Thanks Richard

Sounds like you might be following a logical name with a node name in it. Check accounting data or a network process being created? If you can stall / hiber / make wait the program after the create, before the close, then use ANAL/SYS ... SET PROC... SHOW PROC/RMS=FWA fwiw, Hein. |
