Do we have any new sizing for NT File and Print Servers? The only and latest paper has sizing information for AS 1000 4/266 and AS 2100 5/250. These servers are pretty obsolete by now. What about AS 1000 5/400, and AS 4100 5/400 with 1,2, 3 and 4 CPU's? Is it safe to say that an AS 1000 5/400 could support 1000 F&P users with 128MB mem, and AS 4100 5/400 (2) CPU could support 2000 users with 256MB? And how about 3 and 4 CPUs? I would rather see if you folks have already benchmarked it rather than speculate. Yasemin

Hi Yasemin, The project was sponsored by the Microsoft Alliance and WNT Engineering. They chose not to fund the project any further. We have no data on the newer systems. Sorry. Regards, Marc |
