| I remember that Live Aid very well, even gave a donation and got
a t-shirt. I remember the operator saying that I was the first from
the area to call (don't know how true that is). Can't believe it
has been 10 years already. It was a great show all the way around.
I distinctly remember that it was the first time I had ever seen
U2 perform and I instantly fell in love with their music. It was
also where the Mick Jagger and David Bowie "Dancing in the Streets"
video debuted. Funny what you remember.
Definitely will have to make a point to watch. I know they probably
won't show the whole thing, just hightlights but still worth watching.

From what VH1 is advertising, they are showing the WHOLE thing!
Starting at 4:00 until whenever. I also remember seeing Mick Jagger
and Tina Turner :-) when he pulled off her skirt :-) even SHE was
surprised :-). I know what you mean about 10 years already...

| i was THERE! a friend and i took the train from boston to philly and
were actually in the stadium. i had people taping the show for me while
i was there. it was quite an experience. i would do it again in a
second!
i thought TV GUIDE said that this was just going to be highlights, not
the entire show. even highlights would be nice to see. but not if they
show the babbling idiots from MTV.

| When I checked my TV Guide it indicated the show would start at
4PM and end at midnight. There will be some sort of half hour
special prior to 4PM.
