| Waterboys?
They've been here a long time.
Don't know if they are still together.
They made some albums, and some singles (whole of the moon)
I like them, they make some great music.

| They are together in name only. Mike Scott disbanded the outfit that
did "Fisherman's Blues" and "Room to Roam" and went to NYC to record
"Dream Harder" with session men. It came out early last year.
I saw a review of this album that described it as "Robin Willimason
fronting Foreigner" and that's a good description. I like the album
but Scott seems to be over his infatuation with folk music, this one
has plenty of loud guitars.

I've got the greatest hits CD. I like 2 or 3 tracks on it.

The Waterboys were originally from Scotland but Mike Scott moved to
Ireland (here in Galway in fact) about 5-6 years and signed up a number
of Irish musicians. The results of this can be heard on "Fisherman's Blues"
and "Road to Roam" albums.
Mike could be found in local bars jamming with traditional musicians.
He was, how you might say in the US, a regular kind of a guy.
