| These guys opened up for UB40 this past summer, and I didn't enjoy
their music at all. They sound like just another one-hit rock band
(IMHO). They are definitely NOT like Nirvana, and I don't think I've ever
heard the Ramones.. They have a song out on the radio called
"Hey Jealousy" (SP?).

| They are typically refered to as "alternative," look in RADIO_RADIO
for more info. I think there's already a string on them in there.
The second song from their CD has been released, it seems to "fit"
the same style as "Hey Jealousy."

TEMPE, Ariz. (Dec. 6) UPI - A member of the rock group Gin Blossoms shot
himself to death over the weekend in his Tempe, Ariz., apartment. Police say
32-year-old Douglas Hopkins had been despondent and was hospitalized two weeks
ago after a failed suicide attempt. His body was found by friends.
