Those of you who weren't able to make dinner last night will have no idea
what an awesome time you missed!!! It was great to meet Lale (and her
travelling road show!! 8^)

And I promised her I wouldn't ever mention the whole "Can Opener In The
Bathroom" story - which I think went on longer than "Alice's Restaurant" -
so I won't.....8^)

Oh sure Alan, go to dinner with Lale, but make it to a blues jam with a
bunch-0-ugly male DEC musicians? No way!

I get; I see how it is; ok, ya don't have to stick my head in *that*

Wow. I have my very own topic in MUSIC.
    Now people can do a DIR/TITLE=LALE ;-)

We had a great time. Alan, you are a sweetheart. Lorna, too bad you
missed all that. It was so much fun. Can't wait till DECjam.

Alan, I know you are not going to believe this but I am, in reality,
a very shy person. I really am. I am shy. Most of the time.

Dave, I asked Alan to describe you a little and he did: He is skinny,
tall, wears glasses, looks very conservative, looks like a lawyer, fun
to watch on stage - he moves a lot (while performing).

We even did the "shop till you drop" session at TOWER RECORDS. I
love these midnight madness CD sales.

He said that he would never take me to the blues jam ;-)

> Dave, I asked Alan to describe you a little and he did:

    > He is skinny,

If you call 20 lbs over what the chart says I should be, I guess so.

    > tall,

I got roofed about 30 times today playing volleyball. That doesn't
happen to people that *I* describe as "tall".

    > wears glasses,

Wrong! (Or at least not for the last 5 years).

    > looks very conservative,

Not according to my co-workers - who say I dress like a radical
    beach bum.

    > looks like a lawyer,

And to think, I once thought Alan to be a friend! That's about
the most insulting thing anyone's ever said to me. ;-)

    > fun to watch on stage - he moves a lot while performing

Have to do something to make up for the lack of musical talent.

For those of you who missed both Lale at both the August dinner and the
GUITAR noter's jam the other night, she'll be making one final area
appearanc, tonight at See No Evil's gig at Cityside (Fanueil Hall, Boston).

She's the one with the legs that are nicer than db's..... 8^)

466.8craving for another Boston trip will start in 2 monthsOTOOA::ESKICIOGLUHey Bob, Supe had a straight job.Mon Dec 06 1993 11:2323

I called See No Evil's hotline and someone actually returned my call ;-)

See No Evil was great Thursday night. Alan, wore a blinking pon-pon
Santa's cap and sang "Santa Claus is coming to town" ;-)

Friday, I took the helicopter from PKO to Logon. What an experience.
Seeing Boston from above and so close. It was beautiful. I love working
for this company. If you cut me I bleed in blue. Actually, I should
start bleeding in burgundy now. Oh, btw, I got my new burgundy logo
    business cards. I miss blue.

It was a great trip. I even met with Rick Calcagni and "he knows
everything" Brian Rost. I still have to meet with Ron and Willie.
Willie, it was too bad you couldn't make it to lunch.

It is good to be back home and love is when he doesn't forget to
water your flowers when you are away ;-) He has even taped my favourite
show. Another btw, we were on tv Tuesday night and of course I missed
it since I was away. But my husband has taped it for me and it was
a lot of fun watching ourselves. Turquoise tapes are now available ;-)

I just got email from Lale. It seems she just got internet access recently,
but has managed to lose most of the email addresses she used to have.
I'm not going to post her address here until I get permission, but if anyone
wants to write to her contact me at NEWVAX::LAURENT and I'll give you her
address.

Lale says hi to any of her old MUSIC buddies that are still around.
She says to tell you that she is well and doing great, and that she's mostly
listening to classical music nowadays. Her email address is:

P.S. Almost forgot...she asked if db is still arguing everything to death. :-)
