Over here in Belgium, we have a radio-program called "The originals".
In this program, the DJ's play the original versions of
well-known hits, even if the well-known versions claim to be
original...
Some surprises came already out if it.
A couple of months ago, the BRTN (Flemish Radio & Television),
published a book, a catalogue of the original versions together
with a short history description of the songs.
This month, the first CD out of a (hopefully long) collection
has been released.
The inlet of the CD contains a short history of each song.
I will put a reply in this topic each time a
new CD has been released.
For the moment, it's only number 1, titled :
"Elvis : the originals"
