I've been looking for information on this band Channel X. If you
have seen the movie Basic Instinct, it is the music played in the
night club scene. I guess its best described as dance/techno type
of thing. Anyone know of this group? I checked the CD books at
several music stores with no luck finding anything. One clerk told
me he had seen some of their music on compilation CD's.

If you are looking for the CD that contains the song from BASIC INSTICT check out XL Recordings - The Second Chapter. But be forewarned that XL CDs are very pricey... about $22. Anyways... the 2nd Chapter is an excellent CD. I wouldn't recommend XL Recordings - The Third Chapter "Breakbeat House". | |||||

Wow, you guys are incredible...you all watched BASIC INSTINCT and
remembered the MUSIC!!!!! I personally preferred the music AFTER the
nightclub scene (JUST KIDDING!!!)

Actually, Channel X is a guy from Belgium who performs with another guy
and a young lady.
You can call his record company (Subway/Antler) at +32-16567666 and ask
for Geer, that's him, he's usually there. He's a bit weird, though ;-).
For rave groups like Phantasia, Jade 4U, Praga Kahn, MNO, and a few more,
follow the same procedure. Basically they are 3 or 4 people ;-).
