This is the alternative music conference. It's been having problems,
lately, but should be back soon ( I think it's in the middle of
    changing nodes )

414.5radio stations?ASABET::D_WEISMANMon Mar 07 1994 10:509

Does anyone know of any alternative radio stations besides
WFNX? I have nothing against FNX except that it does not
come in very good on my car radio, so I am looking for
    other options.

    Thanks

Plenty of college stations around, but they tend to have weak signals so
might be even harder to get than FNX. Where are you, and where do you
    drive?

    Buy a tape deck 8^)

WBRU Providence 95.5 is worth a shot. More powerful than 'FNX, but you
can't be up too far north.

thats pretty much what i thought. I figured there might be
other stations with even a weaker signal than fnx.
I live in southern nh (which used to have a half decent
alternative station) and i work in mass. the fnx signal
gets a little better when i get closer to work but not much.
Sure I could get tapes, but I like the variety of radio
    and plus its free.
    thanks for the replies.
