I need help in locating a piano player/entertainer for an
anniversary party. My brothers and I are having an anniversary
party for my parents, and rather than the standard DJ/dancing,
would like to have very good piano player that can play and
entertain at the party. I have no idea on where to begin
looking. He/She should have a wide range of selections to play
and be able to take requests for songs. I basically need
someone that can provide the "life of the party." If anyone
knows of someone you would like to recommend, please let me
know. The date for the party is July 17th (Sat night), and it
will be held south of Boston in the town of Hingham.
Thanks,
-Dave-

Look in the phone book under music schools - their teachers often will
hire out for such occasions - that's how my wife hired one for our
wedding - we wanted someone to play before and during dinner. We were
very pleased, but we weren't looking for someone to be the main
entertainment focus. However, if you explain what you want, they'll
probably have a recommendation.
