| Two of the most famous Brazilian music performers known in the US are
Antonio Carlos Jobim who has composed and played tons of tunes, and
Astrud Gilberto who's sung many including some of Jobim's. Her most
popular is 'The Girl From Ipanema' where she was backed by Stan Getz.
I'd recommend anything performed by them.
Also, refer to note 174 in the JAZZ notes file on FINALY::JAZZ

If I had to guess I'd say someone tried starting a note on Tori
Amos. A discussion had started in the Dennis Miller note back a few.

Yeah, I noticed after writing .3 that note 282 is really about Tori Amos.
Probably the author tried to retitle it and specified the wrong note
number.

| Mod here...
A bit distracted lately, to say the least. I changed the wrong note
title. Changed this one to "Brazilian Music". That should do.
Sorry...

Try Sergio Mendes and Brazil 66' (old stuff but the finest
Brazilian Pop/Folks)
Try Eumir Deodato for his modern Jazz/Pop fusion. (Also in the late 1960's
and early 1970's - his prime period.)
