You should see them live. Along with Bim, one of the better local
bands. They do great covers as well as their own excellent original
stuff.
covers I've heard-
Sweet Emotion
Enter Sandman
Ain't Talkin' 'bout Love
some other originals
Do Something Crazy
Little Bit Ugly
Hope I never lose my wallet
Currently they have two albums (CDs) and a 'single'. All worth the
money (IMHO).

Bill,
They're playing in Boston some time soon with Sam Black Church...
I'll try to post date unless someone beats me to it....besides
this stuff is probably best belongs under the shows/concerts
topic...DIRE/TITLE="string".

251.6 | new Ep new EP new Ep new Ep new Ep | NEMAIL::CARROLLJ | The Bright-Eyed Boy | Sat Apr 03 1993 17:05 | 17 |
| They have a new EP out . . .
Ska-Core, The Devil and More - 6 songs, plus . . .
A hidden track ! :-):-)
after 30 minutes of silence after the last tune, is a live version
of . . um . . I forget the name, but the one that goes "I used to never
cry when I would think about my father . . ."
All in all, typical Bosstones - which means good Bosstones!
-Jimbo
ps - I want the lighter on the cover of the CD! (and I don't even
smoke ! ) - bad in plaid - yup . . .

251.7 | addendum, dammit | NEMAIL::CARROLLJ | The Bright-Eyed Boy | Sat Apr 03 1993 17:08 | 8 |
|
-sorry folks - there are really 7 songs - well, 8 with the hidden one .
. . does that qualify as a whole album? :-)
incidentally, the last two listed tracks "Drugs and Kittens" and "I'll
Drink to That" were recorded live Dec 2nd in Boston - anybody there
that night?

251.8 | | REFINE::BARKER | Nothing is true...Everything is permitted | Mon Apr 05 1993 10:07 | 7 |
| At the show last Wednesday Dicky referred to the new disc as an EP and
said that they released it 'cause they needed money. He didn't say if
they'd be coming out with anything else though. They're always amazing
live. How do they always manage to do everything twice as fast live as
they do it in the studio?
