| Aren't Hunters & Collectors a Boston (or at least, NE) band? I seem to
remember them playing the local circuit, although I've never seen/heard
them myself.

| Hunters & Collectors is an Australian band that dates back at least
10 years. They have released many LPs/EPs over that time and have
been a somewhat popular "alternative" band while getting some (but not
much) mainstream airplay during the mid-80's.
I don't know if they're still together, but some of their music is
worth seeking out if you're into "power-pop" or whatever they'd be
classified as.

| They opened for Midnight Oil at Great Woods 2 yrs. ago. I can't
remember anything about them, though. (Midnight Oil was good.)

| H&C's are Australia's answer to REM.
They are a raw and powerful rock & roll band that manage to embody the
Australian culture, spirit and countryside, and are in the vein of
Midnight Oil.
If you get the chance to see 'em live, don't miss it.
Jeff.
