| OK, a local music note is cool (even though we have a note on "defunct"
local bands I think this should remain. In fact, I figured the original
note was a bit narrow in its scope and that a plain old local music
note would have been better). Let's just call it "Boston Bands" though,
the redundancy in "Local" is unappealing.
However, since most people in this conference are in bands that are in
and around the Boston area, please leave any discussion of your own
bands to note 16.

I understood the author of the base note to be asking about Digital
employees who are in bands, specifically from the Boston area.
I would have thought a simple pointer to the slightly inactive note
#16 would have done it. {I know there's more folks here in bands
than mentioned there, come on, where are you?}
I for one would like to hear about bands from all areas, those which
fall under note #16, those which fall under #121 which was not intended
as a topic on only defunct bands but on bands who for whatever reason
you feel deserve greater attention than their loyal local following
gives them, or used to give prior to their breakup. Also, a local
band topic independent of area would be interesting.

| I thought he was referring to Boston based bands.
Residing in Australia, I have only heard one recently (I know there's
bound to be heaps of others) - "Buffalo Tom" - They have a medium hit
here called "Velvet Roof" - I like 'em alot.
Any info or background on "Buffalo Tom"
Thanks,
Jeff
