	Demo tapes for record companies/clubs/radio, etc...

	Along the topic lines of note #1175 and #1162 in TIMBRE::MUSIC_V3 
	there might possibly be some interest in this note to some of you 
	here.  I'd imagine this topic is discussed elsewhere, MAKING_MUSIC, 
	etc. but...

	There are many places that advertise their interest in receiving your
	music and just like any other dealings some reference of legitimacy
	should first be realized as well as always ensuring that your material
	is properly protected.  {There are many references here and elsewhere 
	on the subject of copyrights, etc.}

	Galt Records out of New York as referenced in the enclosed note is
	preparing to release "Hear No Evil" Volume 2 and they are now 
	accepting submissions (any format).

	They hope to release this second compilation this October.

	In the past this compilation has been primarily given away for free.
	At the current time about 200 copies of Volume 1 have been given out.  
	You have to consider that although this is a relatively small number 
	it has the potential of reaching far more people, or for that matter 
	all it takes is one person to develop an inters in your band.
