I got a 12" of a song with the same title and the same lyrics by Phil
Fearon (formerly singing with Galaxy). Is this the same song?
This one is a Pete Hammond production, 124 BPM. Wether or not it's the
same, if you're into house/dance music, this is also a great one! It used
to raise the roof in 1988 for the club I used to go to anyway ;-)

Let's quizzz huh? ;)
from the top of my head;
Mezzoforte:Garden Party(band from Iceland they went to the U.K)
Wally jump jr.& the criminal element:Private Party
(an early 70's hit) The Ovations:Having a party(RE.0 close to your
suggestion huh?)
Bunnie Sigler:Let me party with you.
And a German band of which Frank Farian used to be the producer, had a
cut called"Party Party", I'll remember it later. ;^)

167.7 | Van Morrison stuff | ATIS01::ASHFORTH | I'm NOT ugly- I'm cosmetically challenged! | Fri Mar 13 1992 08:01 | 6 |
| I'm not the world's biggest "Van fan," but some of his songs would seem to fit
the bill. The ones which come right to mind are "Dancin' in the Moonlight" and
"Brown-Eyed Girl." They seem like the type of songs folks start singing along
with (loudly) when they're deep into the party spirit...

167.8 | Prince - 1999 | PIPE::GOOD | Michael Good | Fri Mar 13 1992 12:42 | 5 |
| Prince's 1999 is a great party song. The chorus has the
musical hook that is most popular:
Two thousand zero zero party over oops out of time
Tonight I'm going to party like it's 1999

| Eddie Murphy - Pahty All the Time
Not one of the greatest records of all time, but could fit the bill
if you want to buy into the lyric.
