The first song, "Larger than Life", is my favorite.
And her first album, "Dancing on the Edge", is my favorite of hers.

Wrong! "Out For Blood" was her first..."Dancing On The Edge" was her
second. Then was "Lita", "Stiletto" and "Dangerous Curves".
If anyone knows of any that _I'M_ missing, let me know! (I also have 2
vid's - "Lita" (concert & 3 videos) and "Midnight Snack" (interviews &
3 videos).

Is this the same "Hellbound Train" by Savoy Brown? I'm wondering if
she did a cover of this.

Couldn't tell you...but I don't think so. I know that most of the
songs were co-written by Ford herself...but all?
I'll have to check.

I thought Savoy Brown's song was "Train to Nowhere", not to be
confused with the Talking Heads version. Savoy Brown's best
album, IMHO, was "A Step Further". One whole side is a "live boogie"
called "The Savoy Brown Boogie".

| There *was* a Savoy Brown album and song called "Hellbound Train", in
addition to the "Train to Nowhere" (those blooz guys like trains, eh?)
but the quote from the Lita tune doesn't sound similar to the SB tune.

RE: KC
Thanks for the correction ... didn't check the dates on the al-
bums.
And yes, you've got all her solo stuff. I'm sure you knew she
was in The Runaways with Joan Jett, who had a couple albums or
so.

Yup...knew that, but sadly, we only have one Runaways album "Little
Lost Girls".

| For those of you interested...
I was browsing through Tower Records the other night, and came across
a Lita Ford picture cd. Looks like it was an interview with her.
It's put out by BakTabak records, Ltd. of England. Looks like there's
a whole series of interview disks they've put out.
