| | AC/DC had a phone number (can't remember it) on the Dirty Deeds Done
Dirt Cheap song. Twas apparently rung by curious fans causing a bit
of distress to the number owners.

| | In Gloria Estefan's "Into the Light" album there is a song "Sex In The
90's", where they mention "1-900-476-DATE". (BTW, I'm not sure of the
exact numbers before the -DATE, but that's not the point.)

| | I'm not sure AC/DC used a 7 digit phone number. I always thought it
was the numbers 36-24-36, which should be familiar enough. The
clincher might be if someone could say whether British phones use 6 or
    7 digits in their numbers.

Mojo Nixon did a tune called "Elvis is Everywhere", and it had a phone
number you were supposed to call if you wanted to report an Elvis sighting.
I called it once, and on the other end was an answering machine with
Mojo going on about Elvis. I left a pretty silly message, that I'm sure fell on
deaf ears.
I only remeber the last four digits were : 5464

AC/DC actually sang 3-6-2-4-3-6-Hey!, making the "Hey" sound like an
    eight. That way they:

o were able to use familiar body measurements
o sounded like they had a real phone number
o could avoid lawsuits by the real owner of that
number by pointing out that the last digit wasn't
    		  really a number
