88.0. "Michael Jones Fan" by SELL3::SHATTUCK () Fri Dec 06 1991 13:31
In the last year I have been purchasing "New Age" music, but have yet
to find anyone that is more pleasing to listen to than Michael Jones.
So far I have Seascrapes, Sunscapes and After the Rain. I find his
music to be very emotional.
Is there any other Michael Jones Fans out there and does anyone know
of any other groups that come close to this type of music.
I have listened and have Liz Story, who I like also, Enya, Kitaro,
and Vollenweider.

| There are lots of "New Age" piano folk out there, especially on Michael Jones'
label, Narada. Try David Lanz as a good f'rinstance.

| To me he sounds like a George Winston retread, just not as interesting.
fine for a rainy afternoon.
except it sometimes doesn't rain here for months on end.
leaving Michael unlistened-to.
