| You can certainly take them to the Nashua recycling center. You don't
need a dump sticker to visit the recycling bins. Also the beverage
distributors (Bellavance Beverage, etc.) tend to have aluminum can
recycling. The one over near the Nashua airport does.

| You can drop off your cans at any fire station in Merrimack.
They have boxes labeled "Cans for Kids". I'm not exactly
sure where they go. Maybe someone else knows.

3661.3 | Bud Recyle Plant Still Open | STAR::KONRAD | | Wed Apr 30 1997 10:39 | 9 |
| The Bud Recycle plant off Amerst St (101A) isn't closed. At least not as
of last week, I went there on Tuesday 4/22.
What makes you think it's closed? The big sign at the corner was
removed because of the new Texaco Station but there still there and
open. The sign is inside the plant now.

| Also, Shaws has a machine that gives you cash (not much) for the cans.
You put the cans in and they get crushed and after every 4 or so cans
you get some money. My daughter used to like to do this.
I haven't used it in years, so I don't remember the particulars. The
machine is at the one near Automotive Village in Nashua, just to the
right of the customer service area.

3661.5 | If you live near Amherst... | CASDOC::ETZEL | Mike | Tue Jun 03 1997 13:53 | 4 |
| If you live near Amherst, the Souhegan High School Music Dep't accepts
donated aluminum cans. The cans need to be placed in a plastic bag (we
use garbage bags) and dropped off in the shed to the right of the
school. -Mike
