for ZKO, just as an FYI: The section of the access road from the light at the bottom of the hill and Spitbrook road is icing up (obivously :-)). A number of cars were busy spinning tires trying to get up that section (and also out of the side road there at the light). The commute later might be slightly more horrendous. -Joe

Is this not about the 4th or 5th Friday afternoon that the road hasn't been sanded and treated till AFTER we all go home? For such a winding road, it gets very little treatment till after the fact. You'd think with the number of spinouts and cars in the ditches each winter Digital would be doing something about it. mike not looking forward to spending 45minutes to drive home 3 miles tonight.

I just spoke with Jim Dirico, the facilities manager, who said I can quote him. He said there are people out there right now sanding; the current weather conditions are rain over top of snow. This means icing, because the rain freezes the minute it hits the snow and consequently the ice covers up the sand. Jim also said there will be people out there between 4 and 5 o'clock plowing. They are doing the best they can.

Well, I left here ~5:40 Friday night, and didn't have any trouble at all. -Patty |
