Are you referring to the conferences I mentioned in .1? They are very much
available and active... (maybe your network database needs updating?)

| I discovered my problem. It was very simple. The BitSurfer did not come with
a modem cable, which I did not discover until after I got home. So I rigged
up something out of adapters and terminal cables. When I was able to get the
AT prompt I went ahead and configured the adapter to support the two analog
phone lines. Then I completely forgot about the cable until I was attempting
to connect a modem to a DECserver 90M at a customer site and read that the
cabling was very important here. I went by Radio Shack and got a 25pin male
to 9pin female modem cable, connected it and everything works fine.
