Hello,
An integrator is trying to instal a MPEG2 decompression board (VideoPlex from Optibase) into a Personal
Workstation for our customer.
The problem is that to get this board to work the 2ndary PCI channel must be disabled. This is how the
board works on Compaq systems which also have 2 independant PCI. However, we have not found how to configure the
BIOS to disable the 2ndary PCI channel. If this is possible, how can we do it ? If not, I'd like to have a contact
who could help us investigate a solution with Optibase (i.e. clearly identify who is responsible of the problem:
the PC architecture or the board design).
