    I just had a call from an old friend of this file Cal Hoe while he
    was on a visit with his family in Ottawa.
    
    Sadly, Cal's mother is succumbing to the cancer that has she has
    beenfighting for the last few years ... although she has survived
    far better than they had predicted.  (Cal's mother lives here in
    Ottawa.)
    
    Sammy has been making all kinds of prorgess keeping Cal and Judy busy.
    They did discover that Sammy is a visual learner ... and as such they
    decided to register him a Montessori environment and he is apparently
    thriving in it .. so Cal has nothing but good things to say about the 
    Montessori program.
    
    Cal, himself, seems to be enjoying his new job in the Springs, after
    selling up home and just about on a move to California.
    
    I'm sure we all send our sympathies to Cal and expressed such to him.
