| | The movie is from a book by the same name, "The Broken Cord."
It is by a man from New Hamsphire (Michael somebody.)

If you don't find the movie, you can at least read the book.

| | I just read last week (Union Leader) that the kid in the story
(the boy that the story was about)
was killed very recently, I believe he was hit by a car. He was 23.

I'm sorry I didn't get to see the movie. What about a library?

| | The book "The Broken Cord" is by Michael Dorris. I highly
    recommend it.
