Does anyone have any experience with the educational program, "Hooked on Phonics" that is advertised on TV/Radio? Thanks in advance, Chip

I have no experience with "Hooked on Phonics" but in early grade school when I was learning to read, I learned using phonics. I don't remember liking it then, but looking back I think it's a good way to learn to read. It taught us how to sound out words if we didn't know what the word was, among other things. It had nothing to do with learning disabilities - we were all in Catholic school in a normal class environment. If you get the program, let us know what you think. Mary |
