My two year subscription of Parents Magazine ran out without me
really knowing it. When I realized I was late getting the July
issue, I checked back and found that my subscription would have
ended in June.
With other magazines, I receive months worth of renewal notices and
even continue to receive magazines beyond the true last issue of my
subscription.
We moved three months ago and I was wondering if maybe they did
send renewal notices but they never got forwarded to the new
address (mail is supposed to be forwarded for six months, but
some stuff must slip through the cracks). The magazine has
continued to be forwarded.
Have any of you out there who receive Parents Magazine had a
subscription run out? Did you get renewal notices? Wouldn't I
have gotten the July issue in mid-June? I never really paid
attention to when each month's issue arrived.

My parents magazine was due to end in June - like you. But unlike you
the sent me at least two renewal notices a month, starting back in
April.
Maybe they did send it, and it didn't get forwarded.
If you had planned to renew (much cheaper than brand new subscription)
you could call them. There is a number, on the Table of Contents page.
I called them when I moved and they change my address right on the
phone.
It is a great magazine. I have been getting it for two year, and enjoy
it every month.

That probably explains it. We moved the last week in March, so the
renewal notices that started arriving in April never got forwarded.
I never called to change our address because it's only temporary
and we hope to be out of there soon. Guess I better get on the
ball.

I called "Parents" and they told me I get 28 issues, not 24, so
my subscription doesn't end until September. They said they
would extend it until October since I missed the July issue. I
told them I had a new address but for some strange reason, they
already had my new address on their system. They said an agency
keeps up their address list, so I figure the agency got the new
address somewhere else and updated it for Parents, too. I don't
know.
Anyway, it's now July 25 and I haven't received my August issue.
Has anyone out there received their August Parents Magazine yet?
If so, when?
