915.1 | Consider day camps | POWDML::SATOW | | Wed May 22 1991 11:19 | 6 |
| I don't know how old your daughter is, or what your plans for the summer are,
but many day camps (Y, Girl Scouts, and others) offer swimming lessons as a
part of their activity schedule. Often the lessons are by Red Cross certified
instructors.

915.2 | Public Pools have lessons available | BRAT::DISMUKE | | Wed May 22 1991 15:00 | 8 |
| The City of Lowell has public pools around where swimming lessons are
provided. I think the Parks and Recreation department will be the
place to give you that information. I lived in Lowell a few years back
and checked this out for my son. Seems the pools are closed to the
public in the morning to provide the lessons.

915.3 | Swimming places in Westford? | NAC::E_JESURAJ | | Mon Jun 03 1991 14:17 | 16 |
| We live in Westford. Our children will be spending their summer at
home. Our daughters are of age 7 and 5 1/2. They do know swimming.
We want them to go for an advanced swimming class. Town of
Acton/Boxborough does offer swimming classes for nonresidents also,
but those are offered during our working hours, it will be too much
to drive them back and forth. Our babysitter cannot drive. So I can
plan for any classes during the daytime. However if the classes are
offered sometime after 3p.m, I can change my schedule of work, so that
my girls can go for these classes. I heard that Westford Regency offer
swimming lessons for children and adults. Does Anyone have any definite
input about this?
Thanks for any information I can get.
