Does anyone know a good booklet/videotape explaining the breathing
technique for different stages of labor? I'm due with my second child
in little more than two months and would like to practice it in time.
I took the childbirth class with my first one and found the breathing
technique quite helpful, at least, at the first phase of labor. But
that was 8 years ago.
I suppose the best way to refresh my memory is to take the refresher
class, but I do not to want to take a couple of weekday evenings for that
purpose, as our evening schedule gets pretty hectic these days.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Kyungae

We wound up taking the refresher class (they had one that was a
single Saturday afternoon session at St. Joseph's in Nashua),
after saying we weren't going to do it. It was worth it; it was
quite amazing the number of simple things I had forgotten that I
was sure were graven on my brain forever. Plus we had a chance to
practice, and to get answers to specific second-pregnancy
questions that the regular classes never get to because they're
geared for first-timers.
