| Can you tell me a little more about the light switch? Does it replace
the light switch on the wall?
There are some conference rooms here (MKO) with motion detectors in the
light controls. The lights go on when you go in and go off if there is
no motion in the room for some time. Is this the same idea? How does
it work?
Thanks!
Jane

| It works by sensing motion and heat. Thus a hot stationary object
won't turn on the lights. Yes, its the same as DEC has in conference
rooms. Jeff

| Jane,
It's easy to replace the switch with the hi-tech switch. It
doesn't work with florescent lamps though.

| You can order them from Seventh Generation catalog. I just gave
my catalog to my mother, so I don't have the numbers or price with
me at the moment. Seventh Generation is a eco-friendly company
that sells paper products made out of recycled paper, environmentally
friendly cleaners, and other ecology/economy minded things (such as
the light switch motion detector). They're located Vermont and
can be reached at 1-800-456-1197.
